Catalog prerequisites

This operates on the database-backed component catalog configured on AgentOS, not on the in-code agents, teams or workflows lists. It requires a supported synchronous BaseDb adapter with component methods.

Published components can be readable across scoped owners, while writes remain owner-scoped; a visible foreign or shared row can still reject a write with 403. Draft versions require preview access. Saving configuration does not validate model credentials, run tools or deploy a service.

Check publication explicitly

On current main, this endpoint reads db.get_config(component_id). With the current SQLite and PostgreSQL adapters, a component without a published current_version falls back to its latest visible draft. A draft-only component can therefore return 200 with stage="draft".

Use the component's current_version together with the returned configuration's stage when checking publication. A successful response from this endpoint alone does not establish publication or readiness for dispatch.
