Tool Use O3

Run an o3 agent with cached YFinance tools through the OpenAI Responses API and stream the response.

Usage

Set up your virtual environment

uv venv --python 3.12
source .venv/bin/activate

Set your API key

export OPENAI_API_KEY=xxx

Install dependencies

uv pip install -U openai yfinance agno

Run Agent

Save the code above as tool_use_o3.py, then run:

python tool_use_o3.py
